The Dressing Lab's shorts leverage the tailoring expertise of our traditional tailored trousers, ensuring a premium feel and a beautiful silhouette tailored to each individual customer. What's unique is that The Dressing Lab, renowned for our jacket tailoring, ensures that the details and silhouette of these shorts are also compatible with jackets, leading to an overall refined ambiance. If you're aiming for a classic finish, we can incorporate details typically used in tailored trousers such as side adjusters, pleats (tucks), and double-hem finishes. On the other hand, if you prefer a sportier look, options like drawstrings or an elastic waistband, similar to easy-wear trousers, are also available.
The fabric choices for the shorts are distinctively Dressing Lab. From classic materials like linen, seersucker, and cotton to modern functional fabrics like jersey and nylon, you have a wide range of options. It would be lovely to tailor a jacket using the same fabric as the shorts, creating a coordinated set.

The Dressing Lab specializes in bespoke tailoring. While we can tailor most items given some time, we do not have ready-to-wear garments available for immediate purchase.
We deal exclusively in high-quality custom-made items, requiring at least one month for completion of any piece. For those desiring bespoke services or in cases where fittings are necessary due to body shape, it may be required to visit our salon 2 to 3 times.
