The Dressing Lab – Made-to-Order Suits Omnibus

Looking ahead to the post-pandemic period, we have been steadily preparing new samples for the height of summer. We are planning several proposals to help you enjoy the warmer months comfortably, including a shorts suit -- a suit with short trousers -- and short-sleeve polo shirts. We plan to introduce them in early June.

As our store has been temporarily closed and there have been fewer topics for our News, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a selection of garments we have completed over the years. First, here are some of our Dress Line made-to-order suits. I hope you enjoy taking a look.

Loro Piana Grey Check

One of the very first suits we made when we opened the store. It has a classic and soft appearance that reflects our house style. The slightly darker photograph also reminds me of the atmosphere of our early days.

A closer look reveals the subtle check pattern. The three-button jacket with a three-roll-two stance gives the suit a refined appearance.

Dormeuil Navy Check

Our first sample of 2020. A three-piece suit made from Dormeuil's signature Amadeus 365 fabric in a modern check pattern.

In addition to the character of the fabric, details such as the double-breasted waistcoat and side-adjuster trousers received a very positive response on Instagram.

VITALE BARBERIS CANONICO Grey Check

A customer order. An elegant and well-balanced three-piece suit.

The wide peak lapels are one of the highlights. I also particularly like the understated tonal check pattern.

PIACENZA Grey Check

A customer order made from Noble Flannel, an elegant brushed wool-cashmere fabric.

A medium mélange grey with a brown overpane. It is a sophisticated color combination with plenty of character.

Caccioppoli Brown Bird's-Eye

A distinctive dark brown bird's-eye suit. This was the customer's first brown suit, and we were very pleased to hear that he enjoyed the finished result.

The wider lapels and sharper gorge line were chosen according to the customer's preferences. A white shirt and solid navy tie create a classic and restrained combination.

VITALE BARBERIS CANONICO Glen Check

The extra-wide lapels were designed to suit the customer's strong physique. Patch pockets give the jacket a lighter impression, while the trousers include details such as flap pockets and side adjusters.

The pattern matching is carefully executed. Vintage-finished nut buttons also work beautifully with the overall character of the suit.

Caccioppoli Blue-Grey Check

A refreshing suit ordered for the spring-summer season. The Super 130's fabric has an elegant, subtle sheen.

A beautiful Caccioppoli fabric with a blue-grey gradation. The shirt and tie were also coordinated in blue tones to complement the character of the fabric.

A crisp wool-silk-linen blend.

The blue overpane adds definition to the overall appearance. I believe the soft texture will become even more appealing with wear.

VITALE BARBERIS CANONICO Navy Herringbone

The latest piece for a customer who exclusively wears blue three-piece suits. VBC's wool-silk Solaro gives the fabric a distinctive expression through its sheen and resilience.

A subtle herringbone weave with very little surface relief, giving the suit a classic and understated appearance.
