Special Fabric Fair: Jacket & Suit Cut-Length Fabrics
The season is shifting from the rainy months to midsummer, yet within the tailoring industry, the transition from summer to autumn is always a challenge.
It feels a little too late to order summer garments, while it's still too early for fall and winter fabrics, as the new collections have not yet arrived. In search of something enjoyable during this in-between season, we decided to return to our roots and host a fair.
With a curated selection of exceptional fabrics, our "Special Fabric Fair" is a classic event reminiscent of a true bespoke salon.
A "cut length fabric" refers to fabric pre-cut to the exact yardage for one jacket (approx. 2.0m) or one suit (approx. 3.2m). These are essentially one-of-a-kind pieces.
We visited the stockroom of a trusted fabric merchant, and standing before what felt like a treasure trove, we carefully selected cut length fabrics that are perfect for this time of year! 
Our selection is mainly jacket fabrics, with some suit fabrics as well. You will find distinguished names such as Caccioppoli, DRAPERS, Loro Piana, CERRUTI, and Ferla--along with a few vintage fabrics.

What do you think? The selection ranges from summer fabrics such as lightweight tweeds, to versatile four-season cloths, and even fall/winter wool-cashmere blends. Orders placed now will be ready just in time for the coming season.
Personally, I was thrilled to handle cut length fabrics again. (At a shop where I once worked, we had magnificent fabric shelves, and folding cut length fabrics was part of my daily routine.) Swatch books are excellent, but nothing compares to draping full-length fabrics over your shoulder in front of a mirror. This is the true essence of bespoke tailoring. The Dressing Lab specializes in bespoke tailoring. While we can tailor most items given some time, we do not have ready-to-wear garments available for immediate purchase.
We deal exclusively in high-quality custom-made items, requiring at least one month for completion of any piece. For those desiring bespoke services or in cases where fittings are necessary due to body shape, it may be required to visit our salon 2 to 3 times.
