Special Order from Honda Motor Co., Ltd.: Debut of the “Racing Safari Jacket & Vest”

This time, we were fortunate to be given the remarkable opportunity to tailor uniforms for HONDA. It is truly an honor to collaborate with one of Japan’s leading manufacturing companies. While we will share the full details at a later date, we are pleased to report that the pieces made their debut at a major event!
Last autumn, we were given the honor of tailoring a complete set of uniforms for the executives of Honda Motor Co., Ltd.--a truly invaluable experience for us.
With the generous support of our partner tailoring factory, we successfully completed the delivery this January. On February 6th, during the prestigious "Honda Racing THANKS DAY 2021-2022" held at Suzuka Circuit, President Mibe proudly wore the pieces we had created.
Honda Racing THANKS DAY 2021-2022
Seeking a design that would harmonize with the circuit while standing apart from a conventional suit or a drizzler jacket, we proposed a "Racing Safari Jacket." Inspired by aristocratic hunting wear, the safari jacket was reinterpreted into an elegant yet sporty garment.
The jacket, featuring water-repellent and breathable properties, was paired with a highly insulated zip-up vest. Together, they create a versatile set designed for year-round and all-weather wear.
We are deeply grateful to the tailoring factory for transforming a design and specification unlike anything before into reality with exceptional craftsmanship and flexibility. Their words--"We will take on anything, please proceed with confidence"--gave us the assurance to make such a bold proposal to Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
As "Team Dressing Lab," working hand in hand with the tailoring factory, we are proud and delighted that this unique jacket and vest were showcased on such a grand stage.
For now, this is a brief report. Should our clients request it, we look forward to sharing more details about the Racing Safari Jacket and zip-up vest here on our BLOG at another time.

We deal exclusively in high-quality custom-made items, requiring at least one month for completion of any piece. For those desiring bespoke services or in cases where fittings are necessary due to body shape, it may be required to visit our salon 2 to 3 times.
